Anti-racist counselling practice

I’m a counsellor passionate about supporting mental health in Māori, Pasifika, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Growing up in Aotearoa, I draw inspiration from te whare tapa whā, the Māori health model that embraces physical, spiritual, family, and mental wellbeing.

As a Pākehā, I stay mindful of systemic privilege and aim to create safe, empowering spaces where everyone feels heard and valued. My practice blends cultural awareness, spiritual principles, and a partnership approach to mental health—moving away from colonial psychology.

I’m a fully registered practitioner with postgraduate qualifications and advanced cultural competency training.
